Shilliday is actively involved in engineering research in partnership with Brunel University in London.
Over the last 6 years Shilliday has been an industrial partner in major Defra and EPSRC backed projects such as:
Investigation and optimisation of commercial refrigeration cycles using the natural refrigerant CO 2 .
Integrated thermal energy storage in food refrigeration equipment for energy and CO 2 emissions (phase change materials).
Integration of tri-generation and CO 2 based refrigeration systems for energy conservation in food.
Our involvement with Brunel University and key other partners in these projects highlights our active involvement in the refrigeration industry, and our ability to offer our customers the latest technology and latest updates on legislation. For any further information on these projects please contact our head office.
